Feeling the January blues? Well I’m about to cheer you up. I’m hosting a Comedy Night as part of the 100minds initiative in aid of Temple Street Children’s Hopsital. It’s taking place on Thursday January 16th. Doors open at 7pm and the first act will be on stage at 8.30pm.
Tickets are €20 each or 2 for €30. Tickets in aid of Temple St CANNOT be bought at the door so please contact me on 086 8780844 or by email gra.fahey@gmail.com if you wish to reserve tickets.
So here are ten reasons this night is not to be missed :
1) There’s a full bar, fab food and delicious cocktails available on the night. Get there early so you have time to fit in a few scoops before the entertainment begins.
2) If you arrive before 7.30pm you will get a FREE cocktail as part of your admission. Free drink, how could you possibly say no.
3) 3 Comedians will perform on the night and they are actually funny. Karl Spain, Ian Coppinger and Josh Howie will make you giggle, LOL and LYAO but please dont PYSL, thats just messy and embarrassing.
4) The fun doesn’t stop when the comedians are over, theres a DJ kicking off at 11pm when the Laughter Lounge is transformed into a nightclub so all you dancers and those who think they can dance can bust a few moves.
5) Bring a friend, bring your family, bring your dog and of course your granny. The more the merrier, and the cheaper too! 2 tickets for €30 which means you can have a nights entertainment and a drink for €15 each! How could you go wrong. Usually entry is €26 so you are getting a bargin!!
6) There’s a photobooth. Multiple embarrassing pictures where everyone makes eejits of each other while drunk. What’s not to love?

9) No one wants to be labelled as minus craic. Whoever said their best memories were made while there were at home snoozing in bed? Get out and have some fun or else forever be known as the boring one.
10) And leaving the best until last… It’s all in aid of the wonderful Temple St. You will contribute to improving life for so many little ones and their families. So while having some giggles and drinks, you are changing lives. Now doesn’t that give you the warm and fuzzies inside.
